How we work with you to create great stationery!

We believe ordering your stationery should feel as good as the event itself – clear, simple, and maybe even a little fun. Here’s everything you need to know about working with us, from placing your first order right through to holding the finished pieces in your hands.

Got a question we haven’t covered? Just reach out, we’d love to hear from you.

The Order Process

Prior to placing your order

If you are totally happy with our suggested invitation style, colours etc then please place your order. But you may like a particular design and want to make a change to the production. That’s certainly possible. In most cases we can change ink colours, stock colour, stock weight, add a foil, envelope colour. We will advise if what you ask for is possible and supply you with a quote to consider.

Once you’ve completed your purchase through our website, we’ll send you an email with a short questionnaire. This is where you share your event details, invitation wording etc. Once we receive your response, we will create the first version of your invitation within three business days and send a digital proof (PDF) for your review.

Take your time reviewing the proof, this is very important. Let us know what you’d like to adjust something or fix any errors (yes, they can happen). Your order includes two rounds of revisions after your initial proof. Revisions are typically completed within two business days.

Once you’ve approved the artwork, your order heads to print. Production timeframes vary by print method but generally fall between two to four weeks. What can effect production times? Generally using deboss, emboss and adding foils along with letterpress printing requires a little extra time. But these processes are worth it!

With your stationery beautifully printed, we carefully check and pack each item before sending it on its way to you. Then comes the exciting part, sending your invitations out to your guests, or arranging your on-the-day pieces for the big event.

When Should I Place My Order?

Invitations

Order 4 weeks before you plan to send

We recommend getting your invitations out to guests at least three months ahead of your event, with RSVPs due no later than six weeks before the day. This gives you plenty of time to lock in your final guest numbers before moving on to day-of items like seating charts and place cards. If you’re considering letterpress or foil printing, please allow additional lead time.

On-the-Day Items

Order 6–7 weeks before your event

To ensure everything arrives in time, all on-the-day orders need to be approved and ready for production at least three weeks before you need them.
