Shipping policy

Once you've approved your proof, the waiting begins, and it's only natural to want to know exactly when your stationery will arrive. Here's how the timing works, from the moment you approve your design through to the day your parcel lands on your doorstep.

Two clocks, not one

Every order runs on two separate timeframes, and it helps to think about them apart. The first is production, which is how long your pieces take to print and finish. The second is delivery, which is the time in transit once your parcel leaves us. Your total wait is the two added together.

Production times

Production begins once every piece is approved and you've supplied all your wording along with any guest lists.

  • Digital printing: up to 10 business days
  • Letterpress, foil, and wax seals: 15 business days

Why the embellished pieces take longer. Letterpress and foil are pressed one colour at a time, and each pass has to cure before the next can be laid down. A two colour letterpress invitation goes through the press twice, and a foil and letterpress combination three times. There's no shortcut through that curing time without the impression lifting or the foil failing to key properly into the stock. Those extra days are exactly what give the pieces their depth.

If your order mixes print methods, everything ships together once the final piece is ready.

Delivery times within Australia

Standard shipping is complimentary on all orders over $100, and Express is available at checkout for an additional cost. Everything is sent with Australia Post, who may hand your parcel to a partner carrier on the final leg.

Once your order is on its way, you'll receive an email with your tracking number.

Estimated standard delivery, counted from the day we dispatch:

  • Sydney and Greater Sydney: 2 business days
  • Brisbane: 2 to 3 business days
  • Melbourne: 3 to 4 business days
  • Canberra and Adelaide: 3 to 5 business days
  • Perth: 6 to 8 business days

Express delivery: 1 to 2 business days to most metropolitan areas.

During peak periods, and in the weeks either side of Christmas, both dispatch and delivery can run a little longer than the estimates above.

When to place your order

Working backwards from your date is the least stressful way to plan this.

Invitation suites: allow up to 4 weeks from approval, then add your delivery window on top. If you're posting invitations three months before the wedding, ordering around five months out gives you comfortable room to breathe.

On the day pieces such as menus, place cards, and signage: order at least 6 weeks before your event, and approve your designs at least 4 weeks before. If production has to start inside that 4 week window, a 30% rush fee applies, simply because your job needs to displace others already scheduled on the press.

One practical tip while you're planning: order 10 to 20 extra invitation suites. Guest lists shift, envelopes occasionally get addressed twice, and a reprint later means a fresh minimum run of 25 pieces.

International orders

We don't ship outside Australia at this time.

If something goes wrong in transit

All orders are sent with authority to leave, so please make sure your delivery address is somewhere a parcel can sit safely if nobody's home. If your order is delayed, doesn't arrive, or turns up damaged, email us as soon as you notice and we'll work through it with you.

Your stationery is packed flat and unassembled, wrapped carefully, and checked piece by piece before it leaves us. Opening that parcel is one of the first genuinely tangible moments of your wedding, and we'd like it to feel that way.
